More than 2,000 years have passed since Sun Tzu wrote The Art of War, and warned leaders and planners that “tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”  At Boom Chicka, strategy always comes first. It’s how we make sure that we act with speed – but not haste.  And it’s how we make sure everything we do moves us closer to achieving your goals – not just because we think so, or hope so, but because we know so. 

With us, strategy building is a rapid, collaborative effort that enables us all to:

  • Understand the operating environment
It’s loud and crowded out there, and most people are not excited to see or hear another marketing message.  To overcome that, we combine primary research with third party data to identify the attitudes and attributes people care most about.  That also allows us to properly appreciate the lived experiences and motivations of the people and communities we are working to reach, and to map the customer journey that will work for you, and for them. 

  • Assess available resources
Everybody is working with limited resources, and our research tells us where to make the right investment, at the right time.
 More than simply time, budget and personnel, strategic resources can also include audience peer groups, community influencers and other high-value message-carriers.  Knowing how to connect with these force multipliers can ensure we get a bigger return on our investment, and that those returns are sustainable.
  
  • Uncover potential obstacles
Forewarned is forearmed, and by understanding what gets in the way of saying “yes,” we are better placed to overcome the inevitable obstacles between us our shared goals - from competing pressures on the time and attention of our audience, to anxiety and embarrassment, to questions of cost/benefit, to a lack of self-confidence.
